Producer Shobu Yarlagadda shared the announcement on social media, thrilling fans worldwide. The selection will allow leading international animation critics and industry professionals to view the film’s visuals for the first time at the Annecy Festival.

The Annecy International Animation Festival is the world’s most prestigious animation event, attracting top filmmakers, studios, and critics from across the globe. The Work in Progress showcase features select films still in production, offering early glimpses to industry insiders. Baahubali: The Eternal War‘s selection places this Indian animated epic alongside leading international productions, marking a significant milestone for Indian animation storytelling.

Epic Storyline and Production Scale

The film explores the world after Amarendra Baahubali’s passing, following him as he’s thrust into a cosmic conflict between the Devas and Asuras. Encompassing 14 magical dimensions, the storyline combines Indian mythology with expansive fantasy elements on an unprecedented scale.
